Um, maybe they were completely out of their area and had taped over the
address/number. I've done that when pulling my trailer for other purposes.
I didn't want everybody on Interstate 35 between Ames and Minneapolis who
needed Internet to call. Once I got back home, the tape came off.

On all of our trucks I just have the business name with no phone number or
anything else. But we are big enough around here everyone knows our name and
they just look it up in the phone book I guess.

Back when I worked in the photo industry (back when there was one) I was
driving my service van out in Palm Springs and got hauled in by the city
business license inspector for doing business in the city without one. Some
times it pays to fly under the radar.

I have a site that gets internet access on a server only and they need email
services. The have exchange which can be used internally. They also have access
to their company mail through webmail. I need to be able to pull their mail to
a server for local access while leaving a copy for webmail.
Hi all,
I was curious if you guys used EMR suits (i.e., suits made with Nomex
or similar material). If so, under what circumstances, and if not, why
not? :-)
Basically I'm just wanting to get an idea on people's thoughts on how
important these suits are to wear and when, and any other
The only time I've used them is during aircraft flight testing.
Green ones when flying with the airforce,
Blue ones when flying with the manufacturer,
Orange ones when flight testing riskier air vehicles to facilitate
finding the bodies..

Pretty simple in exchange.
Use the Pop3 Connector - if they are looking to keep it local - just
make sure to select the option to keep on remote server :-)
Wonder what the reason for both remote and local is ...
You could always setup exchange to serve their webmail as well.

Not sure what you're asking but I think POP and leave mail on server
would do what I interpret your goal to be.

Steve,
There is no reason why someone in this industry should be wearing RF
suit. A few quick notes:
1. Stay away from the front of all cell panel antennas and commercial
microwave dishes. RF fields directly in front of these exceed that
allowable under the standards.
2. Stay away from ALL
Thank you for the response Bob. We never have to work in front of cell
antennas (behind them, but not in front), but one of our locations is on
a colocated rooftop that has an FM station. Any time we go up to that
rooftop though, we turn down the FM's transmitter from 100% to about
20%, and
Steve,
The XM Radio ground repeater is just as dangerous as the FM station. If
this equipment is located on a rooftop the property owner as well as the
station operator is responsible for the safe operation of the station.
Usually there is an RF safety study done for the site. The report
Bob,
Fortunately, the FM station I am referring to only has a 3.7kW license,
according to the information available on FCC.gov. Their antenna
probably gives them a good amount of gain, not sure how much, so their
ERP is likely double (I'm estimating, need to find out more).
As for the XM
