Tonight I switched a customer from 2.4Ghz to 5.8Ghz, and have some amazing results.

Going from a TR5amp AP hooked to a 16db H-pol Tranzeo antenna to a 5a24f (integrated antenna), I have a -79 signal and four LEDS on the back - at 14.6 miles! The firmware upgrade from 88R to 2.01 increased the signal strength from -83 to -79.

Looks like I severely underestimated the coverage I was going to get with this system. I was only figuring about 8 miles. :^)
