We use a lot of Hoffman 18x18x6 boxes... best to have a little more room
then you plan as it is hard to go back and change out for a bigger box, and
easy not to use a little extra space.

For micro-pops we use 12x12x6 plastic box from home depot. Big enough for a
rb750up power supply and a duplex outlet.

I use to use those boxes (same as Lowes) but the issue was after opening
them a few times, the screw holes would get stripped out by a heavy handed
tech, or power screwdriver. They cost around $54 [image: Inline image 1] and
for $30 more you can get a real outdoor Huffman NEMA heavy gauge metal box
that had a lockable latch. I buy them from a local electrical supplier -
Foster Electric... pickup, no shipping costs.
