Yeah, we have three of those critters and sleds too. But during a hard storm,
even the snow cats cannot make it.
I wish we had the Tuckers. You guys made the right choice. I am the only one
here that likes the red machines.
We have the yellow machines. Last year the sheriff had to send search and
rescue to rescue the guys coming down the hill in the yellow machine. Brand
NEW yellow machine. It was used 5 times last year and broke down 3 times,
stranding guys 2 times G.

This is how you access it... that's why we finally had to buy one. :) We
have six tower sites that can look just like your picture (all over 8,000ft
elevation).

chop off the ice or do other things that are more effective. By this time, a
2 week battery system is very very discharged and very very frozen if you
didn't do it right.

That truck would never make it to that tower site... never ever. At
least at some of our tower sites, imagine snow deep enough that the
only thing that stops you from going clear over your head is your
armpits. Imagine being able to dig down 12 feet and still not hit dirt.
Then imagine the incline of going from 6000ft to 8800ft elevation in
that type of snow.

We tried with a bulldozer one year. Never made it. One of our guys almost
went over the edge of a switchback trying. We gave up, waited till the storm
blew over and hired the helicopter.
