Thanks Christopher, that's the same explanation I got from a colleague after I
wrote this. We will have to wait then, and in the meantime strip vlan tag
manually.

[Wireshark-bugs] [Bug 5084] (HTTP) Folded field-values

2018-01-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5084

Andre Luyer  changed:

   What|Removed |Added

 CC||an...@luyer.nl

--- Comment #4 from Andre Luyer  ---
Per rfc7230 (which obsoletes 2616) the use of folded fields is deprecated.

https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7230#section-3.2.4
   Historically, HTTP header field values could be extended over
   multiple lines by preceding each extra line with at least one space
   or horizontal tab (obs-fold). This specification deprecates such
   line folding except within the message/http media type
   (Section 8.3.1). A sender MUST NOT generate a message that includes
   line folding (i.e., that has any field-value that contains a match to
   the obs-fold rule) unless the message is intended for packaging
   within the message/http media type.
