Hi,
it could be probably problem with long hex dump pane crash which I have
fixed in the Rev. 23527.
It will be merged from development branch to 0.99.7 before release.
Please test the last svn version if it really helps.

It crashes on reassembling a segmented XML (over HTTP - I reckon an RSS
feed).
I thought all along it had something to do with my (yet unaccepted) changes

with it, but it just happened with a clean install of the binary as

Unfortunately, this may not be possible as we are focusing on fixing
bugs in the 0.99.7 pre-release and those are the things being copied
into the 0.99.7
I'm trying to submit a bugzilla entry for my patches and new dissectors
but I can't find anything on the entry page that allows me to add my

Am I missing something obvious,
or should I include the patchset inline as part of the 'bug description'?

Hi,
Tried to create binary rpm package(using make rpm-package) for 0.99.6
release and got the following error.
Wireshark builds successfully on the above mentioned version of Fedora
Linux (configure, make and make install) and captures the messages.
Is there a fix to create a rpm successfully.?
Thanks for your quick response. Tried with rev. 23547 - works!

Thanks for letting us know!
Regretfully, when running within a debugger, it only offers
disassembly (although I compile with debug symbols). Any options how

When I launch the wireshark application and start the capture, it

Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of working on a dissector or dissectors that
would decode PDCP headers and their embedded RoHC (rfc3095, later)
packets. Rather than try to cleverly guess context state without
seeing configuration information, I would initially decode these
packets using the
