Hi,
Writing a patch and commit, even better.
This should cover this issue once and for all (I hope).
Thanx,

Hi,
Do you mean code to send S1AP messages? Wireshark has code to dissect S1AP
messages. It does not do sending.

Is the Watcom C library GPL-compatible? Could we use it as a replacement for
well that could be helpful. The thing is, i cant write anything to the library.
It's all set and isn't to be changed by me. I was hoping there was a way to
create a third file of sorts. So that my c function calls the third file which
calls the library function and returns the information that w
Let's say you want to write a function x with C calling function to call a
function called y in a C++ libarary.
In file x.cpp, declare
extern "C" void x()
{
y();
}
In Wireshark call x.
Link Wireshark, x and library together.

Sorry, a bit over my head. so declare the functions i'm going to use in the
library with extern? what if i can't change anything in the library, i was
hoping that i could create a third file that i could use. So my dissector ->
third file -> library. would i use extern in the third file and then
You need to declare your function to use C calling convention using extern
"C" declaration and then you can link it into your code.

Hello,
So i'm writing a custom dissector. I have a library for a custom protocol which
has functions i need to call. What i want to do is take the raw data, send it
to the library, and the library will send back the useful information for
output. I've written the dissector code for getting the
Yeah, very funny. Now go back playing with the mains wires, ok? ;)

Hi,
Thanks this worked perfectly. I agree it should be made more known since it is

Hello
"Couldn't load module C:\Program Files\Wireshark\plugins\1.0.5\ccs.dll:

Hi,
Since this comes up more and more often is someone able to:
1. Write a patch for the plugin makefiles, or
2. Write a chapter in the developer manual, or
3. Write something on an apropriate Wiki page.
This in order of preference.
Thanx,
Jaap

On my computer I was thinking of the VMware interfaces (en2 and en3),
maybe just interfaces not connected to a piece of hardware? I also
have a fw0 interface which maybe should have a firewire icon?
