I think Jim has come up with a great list.
Personally, I've used Wireshark for years as a systems/network admin,
but know that I'm missing a lot and I'm doing some things the hard
and/or tedious way.

yup, outstanding idea. We use wireshark for troubleshooting, and I use it
for training.
