There is no DifxApp merge module in WiX. WixDifxAppExtension always

can certainly add a dependency on a merge module that isn't shipped with WiX.
Wouldn't you do the same thing with the MFC redistributable (add a merge module
dependency)? You wouldn't add the MFC components directly

everyone is using WiX :)

Interesting, assuming the merge modules are
6 scripts, 4 of them around 2k rows, 1 60k rows, and the last one ...100k rows!
We don't create the scripts manually, we load the databases with data, and then
use Red Gate to generate the SQL scripts.
