Hi, I am running windowmaker with two screens. Main screen is left, and the dock is in the second screen.
The icon behavior is odd. When I launch an application, the appicon is painted in one screen (left), but if I minimize the application, the icon goes to the other (second). I have similar issue with applications. When I open an application using the menu, the application window is painted in the same screen where the menu is. That is nice because I can control where the window should be painted (yes, the icon always goes to one screen, in my case, left). But when I use the dock, the window is painted where the dock is, no in the screen with more left space. For example, in my configuration, with the dock in the second screen, if I have the screen full of windows, and I run an xterm using the dock, the window continues in the same window. Perhaps, the rigth behavior should be: 1. appicon should be painted in the same screen where the window was launched. 2. appicon could be moved to the screen where the window is. 3. application launched using dock should be position in both screens, like if we are using one big screen. About the option three, and about questions about multiple docks in previous mails, perhaps make sense the application is launched where the dock is, but I don't know how setup multiple docks, one per screen. Any help? If we cannot use multiple docks, probably we should check the code to use only one dock.
