2010-08-01 Thread José Fontainhas
It requests a deploy of the translation of nl.wordpress.org and the
screenshot. Not related to your locale's releases.

Re: [wp-polyglots] wp-polyglots Digest, Vol 67, Issue 2

2010-08-01 Thread Peter Holme
It's not for releasing translated packages. It's for when you've
added/updated the rosetta translation (and screen shot). Rosetta is the
theme used on the xx.wordpress.org sites. The process is as follows:
1: update repository with files (in locale/rosetta)
2: send a deploy request
3: sit back and relax. The wordpress.org admins get a notice that you've
updated your files, and they have to copy them to the correct places for the
updates to become visible on your xx.wordpress.org site.

**However: I think the deploy seems a bit outdated - why can't the
translation file and screen shot be taken directly from the i18n repo?**

2010-08-01 Thread Remkus de Vries | ForSite Media
I actually wasn't sure - and am still not - what that deploy request is
meant to do .. I did manage to build a 3.0.1 dutch version which is
available through the website, so what does the deploy request do?

Thanks,
Remkus
