Advocacy Digest: Item of the Week Grey Bar

Guardians: AdvocacyEffectively Using the Advocacy Digest
The Legislative Services Department develops this mailing each week by tracking companion animal related state legislation. Typically, our alerts focus on the following three, broad categories: Anti-Cruelty, Spay/Neuter, and Licensing/Regulations. Each alert states the ASPCA's position, the bill number, the bill sponsors, and any action that you, the advocate, need to take to either support or oppose the legislation. In order to learn more about the highlighted alerts and send letters to the appropriate parties, please click on the dark grey headline and it will take you to the Lobby section of our website. Please note that you may only take action on Federal alerts or those listed for your state of residence. If there are no alerts highlighted for your state in a given week, please click the "More Alerts In Your Area" link at the bottom of the page. Thank you for helping us be the voice for companion animals everywhere.
