loved him much followed him subways mornings slept slept late slept pain
curled body spoon passive
trembling cigarette dirty morning beautiful banal world light world living
Bach coffee toothbrush please come

His body a light in the bedroom, his smile a dog in the bed: He shakes me
with hugs,
overwhelms me with kisses; I raise my arms to embrace his neck.

He takes me in his arms to dance, and I try, an old woman taking her turn.
His kisses pull me down to the street. I'm happy to smoke his cigarette
