Usually there isn't much you can do in these situations. I just ignore it. If you can double the font size, that should be more than enough. If someone needs it bigger - then they are going to be used to broken sites anyway... Any bigger and it becomes too hard to manage. You need to draw a line

I was wondering if people had any opinions on when its acceptable if at all for a layout to break when users increase font size. Sites I am working on look fine if text is increased or decreased 1 or 2 times but when they are increased repeatedly the layout goes a bit whacky in some browsers (N
