Hi Russ, I didn't see this post of yours until 5 minutes ago which was rescued from my gmail web account spam box, and it was because I realized I haven't been receiving Some links for light reading for many months. Thanks for taking the time to do the test, and the info about the MS filter.

Hi Tee, Unfortunately, this is a known issue. Basically, this MS gradient filters will drown out or over-ride borders. You can see this more dramatically if you apply an MS gradient filter to a box that also has a border-radius defined. The MS gradient filter will render a gradient
