Hi Andrew I'm not totally sure about that htmlhead you've used top and bottom of your *sitemap.xml* file? It looks suspiciously like regular HTML to me, albeit with an XML extension ... I'm a bit of a newbie here, but I've had good success with *this* structure: ?xml version=1.0 encoding=UTF-8? urlset xmlns=http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84; xmlns:xsi= http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance; xsi:schemaLocation= http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84 http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84/sitemap.xsd; url loc .. URI ./loc changefreqmonthly/changefreq priority0.5/priority /url | etc. ... | url loc .. URI ./loc changefreqmonthly/changefreq priority0.5/priority /url /urlset I'm sure too that there's a wealth of info over at w3c.org ... Sorry Hassan! It would seem it's been changed. Andrew's been beavering away, as one does. His original XML file I downloaded from the same URI as you did: http://maps.unimelb.edu.au/sitemap.xml, right onto my desktop (it's still there), and I believe I probably did that a number of hours before you looked.
