[WSG] vCard and Webforms

2005-08-29 Thread Juha-Markku Liikala
Hi,

I hope this isn't too much off topic. Has anyone implemented a
drag-and-drop vCard functionality in a webform (draggin your vCard to the
form automatically fills in your name and adress, phonenumber and so on)?
I've heard about this kind of forms but I've never seen one.

I'm planning to try this functionality in one of my personal projects and
I'd love to see if anyone has done this before (I'm sure someone has).

RE: [WSG] Need some MAC screen grabs - And some more

2005-02-17 Thread Juha-Markku Liikala
Hi to all!
Just a little off-topic...
I think that there might be many people who don't know about this service:
http://www.browsercam.com/

It's a site where you can get screen caps of your site from a large
variety of browsers and different system configurations. It's not free,
but there is a limited free trial. People who make professional websites
on daily basis are propably very interested in this service.

I just thought to tell about this if someone's not already heard of it.
Cheers,

[WSG] IE returns a blank page

2005-01-23 Thread Juha-Markku Liikala

Hi,

This is my first post on this wonderful list. I have a major problem with
IE6. Try to visit this page: http://www.juhaliikala.com

It validates perfectly and works with Firefox and Netscape without any
problems...but with IE. Well, for me anyway, it returns only a blank white
page with the following content:

!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN
HTMLHEAD
META http-equiv=Content-Type content=text/html;
charset=windows-1252/HEAD
BODY/BODY/HTML

What on earth could be causing this? Other subpages of that site DO work
also in the IE (e.g. www.juhaliikala.com/about/). I'm very confused about
this...any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance. :)

Ps. The site itself is still under construction, but if anyone can give
any tips pointers about how to make it better, please do :)

work with any of my friends computers either...

Ok, problem solved...well kind of. I removed a my blog php-script from the
page and now it seems to work just fine...

Thanks anyway :)
