Re: [WSG] 1to1 markup suggestions

2007-08-24 Thread Kenny Graham
I've always seen a definition list as a simpler way of representing
any 2-column table with implied column headers of term and
definition or property and value. So according to me (and i AM
perfect after all), both would be correct. A definition list would be
simpler, and a table would give you more flexibility, but both would
be correct.

[WSG] 1to1 markup suggestions

2007-08-23 Thread Brian Cummiskey

i have some data

1 | A
2 | B

and so on in a 1-to-1

I'm considering using a DL as A defines the symbol 1
but at the same time it is tabular data.

Thoughts?

There is no hard correlation between them.

the data would be similar to this:

@ | at
$ | dollar sign

Going like that, its easy to see that column B defines column A symbol.

But, along the same lines, it could be grouped with a thead like

thSymbol/ththMeaning/th
