hi,
one has to hit ENTER/RETURN in IE6 for access keys to work. keying in
the access key merely puts focus on the link, but does not automagically
activate it as in, say the Fox.

Try validating the HTML first. There's no character encoding, you are using
a html doctype but it has xhtml code
