Article mentions some disadvantages of Flash. I'd like to add another one, IMO biggest one:
* Flash links cannot be opened in new window (ie. user has no control over it)
With growing popularity of tabbed browsing this starts to be huge disadvantage, especially if Flash is used for menu. Avoid!
