i would imagine that you could, i have noticed a lag sometimes but that seems to be only when using transparent pngs (see www.icandfashion.com) you can see a bit of a lag there for that to kick in.

so far i cant see any lag but i dont have any links up or nav yet so its kinda hard to tell

after clicking on those what do you think?

How big is that thing? Can you split it up so you can just use the
bits you need (i.e. :pseudo-selector), or do you need to use the full
thing? I'd heard it's largish (but haven't ever used it/had to use
it).
