I've looked at it on Firefox and Galeon on Linux, and it's definitely
white on both. Nice design; very clean and easy on the eye. I have
several weird neurological problems and really appreciate simplicity and
elegance in design - much easier to use.
Happy New Year!

A few people have said that they can only see the green nav bar and the
picture of trees below it and nothing
else. They should be able to see more than that including a black footer
with images and links.
Try removing:
overflow-x: hidden;
from the body {} CSS block.
Happy New
job done!
thank you.
I must have left that in from another site. Really must get into the habit
of using css reset to baseline everything before I start.

O.K.
You did not ask about anything else.
And, that is O.K., too.

List Guidelines:
IE8 - looks fine.
IE7 - looks ok but not as intended.
IE6 - looks very odd.
A few suggestions:
* *IE6* doesn't recognise the *min-height* property on *#header* and
*.whitebar* - there are several ways around thisa search for
/IE6 min-height hack/ in Google will return countless
