Hi, I'm experimenting with using javascript to write in alternate style information into the body of my webpages, similar to the current www.smh.com.au method (view source and scroll down to immediately inside <body>).
The method seems to work fine, but I am wondering about the pros/cons of doing this, from a best practice/web standards point of view? Have other people implemented similar solutions? BTW, I am working within the constraints of a specific design where most of the components need to be fixed width.
