At the Simulator menu Window, Zoom is grayed out and the Scale options the same. tee On Nov 18, 2010, at 6:22 PM, Bob Watson wrote: Something like: script type=text/javascript if(navigator.userAgent.match(/iPad/i) != null) { // Is iPad document.write(meta content=width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=1; name=viewport) } else { // Not iPad document.write(meta content=width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0; name=viewport) } /script Should work. -Original Message- From: li...@webstandardsgroup.org [mailto:li...@webstandardsgroup.org] On Behalf Of tee Sent: Friday, 19 November 2010 12:56 PM To: wsg@webstandardsgroup.org Subject: [WSG] disable user scale for iPhone only, not iPad meta content=width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0; name=viewport With the size of iPad, having zoom feature seems a more sensible approach however the meta tag disables the zooming in iPad too.
