Hi Anton
Here's my results
Firebird 0.6.1 on Win
looks ok but the subnav starts halfway under item 1.
(i.e Subitem1 starts just under the e of Item on-e-
IE5.5 on Win
looks aok, subnav starts at left : 0;
Opera 7 on Win
Ouch - renders everything wrong. topnav and subnav collapsed to one item - only
shows item4 and subitem 4.
Opera 7 seems to have a big problem with float boxes inside a floated box.
I did an experimental nested list that looks aok in IE and Moz but is not
rendered by Opera at all.. The subnav box inherits the width of its parent item
if now width is specified, even though the box is positioned absolutely outside
the document flow and should auto expand to its content.
As a result the subitems are stacked underneath each other. Specifying the width
of the box fixes this but then we have to know the width of the individual
subitems prior to specifying the containing box width.
Cheers
James Ellis

Hi, since I don't have access to more than 2 browsers on my old
laptop, could someone please take a look at:
http://standardice.com/experimental/nestedlists.html before I submit
it to Listamatic2 ?
TIA,
/Anton
