The worse part is when you think they actually call you. HI
I got fooled on one instance, the call sign was correct so I tried replying.
The locator seems right too but it's 160 and I am on a city lot so not likely.
I'll try enabling WAV recording in the future.

You want to test it?
This one has a few patches I'm waiting to hear on.
#1 Min window size -- use CTRL-M to toggle the menu and several other items
(it's on the View menu). Only the Menu gets turned back on when toggled until
you restart the program. It doesn't remember the setting or window
Hello Mike,
Great Idea. As I have a FLEX-6700 and 8 instances of WSJT-X running, I
would be very pleased to save space on my screen.
Please Joe/Bill...

I've been playing around with making WSJT-X smaller.
At this point I have attached CTRL-M to toggling a few items like

No need to send files.

If you have checked *Save all* or *Save decoded*, .wav files are
Hi Joe,
My post is not a complaint, simply a beta report on the software. The
number of false decodes I'm seeing is much fewer than 1%, and their
printed content corresponds to your description. I agree that's quite
acceptable if it also provides additional good decodes. It might,
however, be
Hi Jim,
Without specifics and saved .wav files it's impossible to comment in any
detail on your false decodes.
When developing the two-pass decoder, we analyzed over a thousand .wav
files in crowded band conditions. The probability of false decodes was
higher for second-pass decodes than for
Hello Jim-
I have been running my receiver overnight on 160M for a few years now.
I use to see the kind of decodes you mention but they went away for a while.
Recently thought they have returned but infrequently.
I notice them because they are in impossible propagation zones for the time.

Hi all,
a lot of 'ghost' signals on 20m JT9 - wonder where they came from.

I also have been using WSJT-X RC3 overnight monitoring 630 m WSPR with no
problems detected. No phantoms so far.

Hi Team,
For several weeks, I've been letting WSJT-X rc3 run overnight on 160M
while I sleep, and tabulating the decodes the next day. I've been quite
pleasantly surprised by the activity -- in less than a month, I've
decoded about 450 different stations running JT65 or JT9. More than a
