[wsjt-devel] WSJT-X v2 -rc1 crash

2018-09-22 Thread W6XK
Joe, I have experienced two crashes. In both instances, I had manually entered a compound call sign (i.e., HP6/HP1MRA) in the DX Call field, clicked Generate Std Msgs (which populated the TX1-TX5 fields with the appropriate messages against a pink background), and clicked Enable TX. At the

Thanks August, I have just checked v1.9.1 an there is no “Auto Seq” and “Call 1st” there either. I must have just got so used to it on FT8 that I expected it to be on JT [Smile] It would be a nice addition to JT9 & JT65. 73 Justin EI3CTB From: August Treubig

Greetings, Thanks to Joe for taking his valuable time to respond. I didn't realize that the Enable TX should stop after each QSO.  Apparently it does in V2.0.0-rc1.  However, tonight I am back running V.1.9.1.  I have made 5 QSOs in a row on 160m with out having to do anything other than

Hello, Unfortunately I have also experienced these random crashes with wsjtx-2.0.0-rc1-win32. Using Alt-Ctrl-Del to bring up the task manager does not show WSJT-X as a running program but I get a pop up message telling me it is still running when I try to open it again form my desktop icon.

Hello, I tried to have a QSO in JT9 & JT56 after downloading wsjtx-2.0.0-rc1-win32, the “Auto Seq” and “Call 1st” are missing for JT9 & JT56 so I need to complete these QSOs manually Could they please be reinstated for JT modes ? 73 Justin EI3CTB

Hi Dezider, Just to let you know your not the only one seeing this problem. I had to re-boot the system to continue. I'm not yet able to reproduce the crash. I'm running win10 pro on a dell 630 laptop. 73, Connie/k5cm On 9/22/2018 11:55 AM, Dezider OM5NA wrote: Hello all, first of all

Question...Joe...you had said you were going to change the hound mode so that they could transmit all the signals at once without losing transmit power per signal. Has that change been implemented in RC1? de Mike W9MDB ___ wsjt-devel mailing list

FWIW Just installed 2.0 RC1 yesterday, and so far so good with a couple of exceptions, I was under the impression that the false decodes would be "significantly less than previous versions", not the case here, if anything the rate is higher !!! Another strange phenomenon is that the rcvr S

This has been the case for FT8 since the first v1.9 beta back in 2017.   The developers do NOT want to create an automated QSO machine, so human intervention to initiate another CQ call is required. Neil, KN3ILZ On 9/22/2018 1:42 AM, DeYoung James wrote: 1) The transmitter always goes off

I second this idea. And, I would add that it would be nice if the decodes were listed by priority (on the left window) with highest priority messages last/bottom in the window. It would also be nice if decodes containing a prioritized call sign as the called party were colored/flagged. Both
