Jere,
This topic has been referred to many, many times on this list. It’s a good
idea to check the list for solutions...
The “Subprocess Error” is due to a bug in rc3 and only affects FT8 operation.
The fix is simple.
1. Open a Terminal window (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) and
I get the following when I try to run RC3:
Subprocess Error
Subprocess failed with exit code 2
Running: /Applications/wsjtx 3.app/Contents/MacOS/jt9 -s WSJT-X -w 1 -m 3 -e
"/Applications/wsjtx 3.app/Contents/MacOS" -a "/Users/jts/Library/Application
Support/WSJT-X" -t
I get the same 'nag box', but it has been identified as having to do with LOTW
interface.
As with you, I click OK and press on.
Using Windows 7Pro and JTAlert.

Known problem with RC3 and it's not fatal...just annoying.
Solution provided by Bill here in #4.

When I start WSJT-X v2.0.0-rc3 I get an error popup (a picture is attached).
After clicking OK on the popup, the program runs fine as far as I can tell.
