The auto power on will change in the next release of WSJT-X.
If you want the rig to power on you'll have to provide a new switch
"--set-conf=auto_power_on=1
There is no auto power off yet but you can do that yourself by sending the
command "set_powerstat 0"

Hello Everyone,
I use WSJT in command prompts so I can run multiple radios. It appears
that launching the software will actually turn the radio on. I have
tried with the IC-9700 and the IC-7610. Both radios turn on in the
last state thy were used.
No complaints, I probably overlooked this
