Just to be sure, I did go to the application bundle Contents\MacOS folder where
rigctl-wsjtx is located and tried your suggestion in Terminal. No response.
I’m not sure the command line interface is enabled…

WSJT-X on macOS is an application bundle, I guess from your comments you
don't know about them. Anyway the Hamlib version with WSJT-X v2.5.1 is
the same on all platforms and is 655337.
