Hi!
I am 99% calling with TX2.
JN76FB is not really hard square, and S5 has size of a UL-square (called grid
by ARRL).
So, S5 is enough for those pointing antenna or changing polarization on 160m
band.
Whoever collects UL-squares already has JN76.

Tom,
Roger Tom. As a DX station, you know that many stations move to your transmit
freq and call. Then it becomes bad as the deliberate QRM starts. Sometimes it
is amazing how many stations needlessly get on a DX station's transmit freq.

It doesn't make qrm unless you start calling on the DX's frequency. But in that
case it's a nuisance. I have no problem with lots of stations calling me as
long as the stay off my tx frequency.

Tim,
Everything the others have said is true. But it is a matter of perspective
too.
Sometimes people click on a DX or desired station whenever they see it pop on
their Band Activity screen. This station [the "clickee" :-) ] often appears
without showing its grid square. Sometimes the "c

They are simply trying to get the Q over a little faster.
DXpeditions like callers to start with S.R. so their Q rate/hour is
maximized

Double clicking on TX1 will skip the grid. This is useful when band conditions
are unstable. Grid is optional anyhow and not useful for much other than
turning your antenna toward the station.
More info on skipping TX1 is available in the user manual (press F1).

Hi Tim,
there is no requirement to exchange grid squares for a valid min

Yes. Their goal is to reduce the time required to complete a QSO.
