I can also confirm sudden crash of wsjtx where JT9 process left running.
It did happen when I was playing with new mode buttons. I pressed
several buttons during one receive period and suspect that caused the crash.
How ever I could not reproduce it any more after restart.
My setup is Fedora 35

I wrote this up and submitted it a week ago. I could not find any sequence of
events to cause the WSJT window to suddenly close. I found it took anywhere
from 15min to 3 hrs between crashes. I also get a TCP error when it closes, as
I have wsjt mated to N1mm
