Hi all,
For decoding FT8 and some other modes the JT9 binary from the WSJT-X
package can be used. It can process WAV recordings.
Is there a possibility to do that for the MSK144 mode as well?
Background: The very nice openwebrx fork from dd5fjk can already monitor
FT8 in the background and monitor

Sorry for the bandwidth. Please disregard the message. It was caught in a draft

It is certainly true that the algorithms used in WSLT-X for discriminating

Frank, in my opinion you are lobbying the wrong developers here. If there

Thanks. I will check it out. Maybe I'll get to utilize that this weekend (if
the ice will stay away).

I'll reread the manual. Sometimes, I think I've "read" documentation,
without comprehending everything I've thought I've "read".
I was just a bit taken aback, as this was my very first encounter, even
after WAS and DXCC on FT8. Pretty great feature!
Thanks!

I realize that you aren't proposing "changing RTTY", but that is
essentially what you would have to do if you wanted to make use of the
majority of FTx's better sensitivity ... so clearly you still do not
understand. I'm not sure what your degree is in, but I'm pretty sure it
wasn't signal p
Artie,
Japanese stations operate split on 1905 during 160 meter band operations.
Maybe you were attempting to work a JA and clicking his CQ took you to 1905 ...
or simply a JA station posted "QSY 1905" to send you and other stations there
so they could get some good DX action.
I use an IC-7
