I have been running WSPR for about 18 hours on Mac OSX 10.9 until it crashed 
with:

Error in soundin,   Error -9981,  Error message:  Input overflowed.

Before it crashed, top reported:

Conclusion:   if seems WSPR is leaking but not as extensively as WSJT.   I have 
a gzipped file of vmmap but at 27k it might be too big to be accepted by the 
list server.
