You're pretty brave behind your keyboard.
It's a wonder with remarks like yours that anyone bothers to develop and

I am part of the development team. Read the about box. My callsign is in
there for my earlier contributions.
And I stand by my choice of words. You all are making a mountain out of a
molehill. The software is deficient in my opinion as a software developer.
I never took a swipe at the other devs.
Personal attack. Yawn.

Dave,
your original post may be read as, in and of itself, bullying. The post
demeans the work of the development team by using the term deficiency.
It was a poor choice of word, especially given the paragraph in Chapter
11 of the manual which reads:

I agree with Marco. Its not a 'deficiency' if its not in the design
parameters of the program. This is why there are third-party
programs, and scripts like your's to ENHANCE the use of the program.

When I downloaded 2.3.0 Win 64 on me Win 10 PC the connection to the rig

Turns out the radio lost rig: OmnRig rig 1. And the audio sound card
input and output settings were gone.

The OmnRig rig 1

The "-C stop_bits=2" should unnecessary -- that's the default for the

If you're using model 109 that's an older version of hamlib.
