Title: Badly handled shortcut Alt+G in text boxes on main window WSJT-X v1.8.0.
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro compilation 10.0.16299
Concise description of the problem: Badly handled shortcut Alt+G in text boxes
on main window WSJT-X v1.8.0.
If I put my focus on text box [DX Call] e.g. by hit F4 and after entering any
callsign I try to type Alt+G for "Generate Std Msgs" it append letter 'G' to
the end of callsign in the text box instead of generating all required
messages. This wrong behavior exist in any other text boxes (except DX Grid)
e.g. free text Tx5 (and other messages) but here a small letter 'g' is appended
on tail.
Of course if I leave text box by clicking outside them, shortcut Alt+G do it
properly.
Now, why it is a bug? When I put my both hands on keyboard to quickly retype
required callsign(any erased by F4) I want to generate standard messages by
Alt+G immediately and follow Alt+N to enable Tx to start transmission.
Jumping between keyboard and mouse within part of second is bad idea.
As programmer, I think that event handler for these text boxes should do it in
another way. Inside text boxes 'Alt' and 'Ctrl' modifiers should route event
handling to handle by parent window (or some of them to op system) and leave
focus from boxes.
Exact sequence of steps required to reproduce the problem: simply, try to type
Alt+G in focused text box (excluding 'DX Grid').
