Ramblings from Kent, Ohio:
- as this was a “mock contest”, I think was a: 1) good indication of
functionality, and 2) not a good indicator of contest conditions. Because we
had a small sample of stations for “congestion” in a contest, we need more real
life contest conditions. SUGGESTION: for purposes of “making congestion” can
you limit the bandwidth on FT4 for the next -rc# to use only (for example)
1000-1500? It could make it more realistic.
- less than 10% of stations use the second “73”.
- three times I didn’t get a response from a station, but yet the stations were
marked GREEN, like it was confirmed.
- I only missed 4-5 stations I heard, out of ~80. If it decides, I worked them.
Nice percentage.
- my weakest signals were -18. No problem working them. Maybe, the threshold
can be “loosened”???
- you need logs or anything?
