I have not been hanging around the forum much lately. But I have a question:
I have a web app (site) to automate. The people who maintain the site just released a "proprietary client" application, through which their web site will be accessed in the future. The application has to do with VB or .NET "Report Viewer" 2005, and embeds an instance of IE within the application. They say that soon, they are going to require the use of this client, and not offer direct access to their site anymore. So, basically, I am accessing the same website, but the browser is running within this application window. While the display inside this window looks just like the IE rendering (I am sure that it is actually IE or a subset of IE), Watir is not seeing IE. That is to say, so far I have not been able to attach using title or url. Any ideas how to access this via Watir? Any help would be appreciated a great deal.
