Ah it’s in one of the ‘codeready’ repos. I will have to try to see if they

I did find a package for the latest Fedora though, which may be the same thing:

Hi all,
I wonder if the latest Debian release (Debian 12, bookworm) could be
added to the compatibility list? It ships with Perl 5.36 and wxWidgets 3.2

You'll have to look at the Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL). See
e.g. https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/whats-epel-and-how-do-i-use-it .
I would definitely make use of the features of 3.0-3.2.

This is the WxWidgets package info:
Name: wxBase3
Version : 3.0.4
Release : 11.el8
Architecture: x86_64
Install Date: Wed 11 Sep 2024 10:24:4
Thanks Johan,
Later versions of Perl, Wx etc would be preferred.
RedHat EL8 yes. Hopefully what compiles on 8 will compile on 9 as well.
Thanks!

I am currently consolidating miscellaneous wxPerl versions and patches and
hope to come to a new, clean release that is suitable for the future.
Talking about the future, after this release I intend to drop support for
older versions of wxWidgets. Minimum 3.0 (released 2013), probably even 3.2
