I will certainly volunteer, at least in an interim capacity. (I'm
willing to be a permanent administrator, but I'm not sure I'm the best
person for the job -- but something needs to be done soon, and I'll be
happy to step in and get things started).

Yeah, I just cleaned up almost a hundred pages -- most of which had
been cleaned up by Herbert less than a week ago. This has to stop.

I would like to suggest that one of the following be done as soon as possible:
- Contact the existing administrator and have him make two or three
other people administrators.
- Move the wiki to another site, and make at least two or three
people administrators.
Wxperl.pvoice.org is getting
Pretty much any Wiki can be modified to use captchas and, of course,
more importantly, to not use the default param names.
Other tricks like adding in false submits in hidden divs (so users
don't see them), etc, that submit to honeypots that then block the
source are also very feasible.

I also tried to contact the wiki administrator, same result here.
My feeling is that it would be best to look for a new wiki location
and then to transfer the existing content (with some comments to not
lose the authorship information from the old wiki) there.
Then the wiki could be contro

WxPerl wiki administrator for six months, with no reply at all.
I think this is a very serious problem and a threat to the project.
