and any other compositing desktop being incompatible with X2Go (and freeNX).
Install mate on Centos7, then specify mate-session as the command or choose

For now you need to use a non-compositing Desktop such as Mate or KDE,

I've run into this, it can be something in their .profile or .bashrc
causing issues. Try just moving those files out of the way and if it fixes
it then move one at a time to determine which then examine the file for
anyhing that might explode if not attached to a terminal for example. Or

a kernel with kernel pre-emption enabled, for myself at least it helped

If the second user is using a different user ID you should be fine, they
will have a different home directory, a different mozilla/firefox/(profile)
subdirectory, and a different .parentlock lock file. You can not have two
users with the same UID/home directory run copies of Firefox
For what it's worth ksh also works fine.

each other. Remotely I use an 1680x1050 screen, locally I sometimes bring
a 1600x1200 (old 3x4) monitor. When I plug it into DVI Linux automatically
sizes the screen correctly. Remotely I use

I'm running 15.04 on three machines with no problem with either client
or server except for sound on one machine and that machine sound doesn't work

Haven't done anything on an android tablet but I've used x2go clients
under Windows, Linux, and MacOS, and it hands down works the best under Linux.
One nice thing about Linux is that with virtual desktops you can run multiple
invocations connected to multiple servers. It does have a

12.04LTS, and they can't connect with their old x2go clients
How much memory do you have? If less than 2GB or so it may be parts of
code being paged out and other's paged in. Firefox uses more than 1GB all by
it's lonesome.
