OK, so I guess that everyone having issues is trying to use multiple apps simultaneously with their USB GPS?  Clearly some are, but I am not sure on others.  In my simple configuration, my BU353 is a Serial GPS Interface at /dev/ttyUSB0 .  No GPSD or other related daemons loaded. Works every

Mike, my wx.c is ver 1.78 .  My configuration uses Meteo -MySQL -db2APRS -Xastir, on Debian Squeeze. I have not seen the data reset at 00:00z again like I did last week.  However I have not always been here at that time to check it.  We have been getting rain on and off from Tropical Storm
