I have done my tests on 2.3.1 and I tried to apply the patch on 2.3.1 which
worked
(with some line offset in the patch...).
I wait now for any result.
So far everything is running fine. No issues.

had to extend the __xn_tscinfo structure because the counter value from the
last tsc update is needed to calculate the new tsc value.
