Hi I'm posting this for the second time since the previous one doesn't appear in the archive, so I apologize if it will appear twice. I'm using sax2 to parse an xml document and need to modify each element's namespace and pass it to the next ContentHandler in the chain. I got the impression that startPrefixMapping actually does nothing, but I did notice that in elements where a namespace was explicitly specified there was a "xmlns" attribute; unfortunately I have no idea how to create a copy of the Attributes argument and how to modify the "xmlns" attribute, but even if I knew how to do this, it wouldn't be efficient to add a "xmlns" attribute to every element in the xml. Is there a better way to achieve this? Is it feasible at all?
