Looks like you have to add an additional package repository when you want to
install debug packages in (X)Ubuntu:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debug%20Symbol%20Packages

Sorry, did not know that, for me (debian) the debug packages are in the default
package repo.

So well, if you would be still motivated, you could go that path (or
alternatively compile thunar from source)

> I am finished with this. Sorry :(
This sounds like there is no motivation left :( ... so I will close this bug.
If I am wrong, please reopen !

Thanks for reporting.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this bug, neither with 1.6.15, nor with master.

I tried to start search by just typing, tried with CTRL + F, tried different
views .. no way, search just works fine for me.

Can you reproduce the problem on a different maschine ?

[Xfce-bugs] [Bug 14998] Thunar spin up sleeping HDD even if all partitions unmounted

2019-01-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14998

Ok, I made the test more precisely. The process dumpe2fs is started at thunar
startup, before all gvfs processes. It wakes up the HDD, then terminates and
gives place to gvfs processes.

I did further tests on the same machine on a different account. This problem
seems to be related to some settings on my account together with ibus/Anthy.

I just tried it on a "clean" machine and it indeed works fine.
I figured, when I turn of iBus this bug doesn't happen. I use iBus with
Anthy-Japanese and German.

Apparently, this is an iBus problem. Sorry for not checking comprehensively
enough.

Much better with the patch as master now builds fine on OpenBSd with it, but i
dont really like #include scattered around .c files - wouldnt it be better to
add a #ifdef block with them at the top ?
