It's xterm. I'm referring to double-clicking on 1233:03030-30303 and
it'll select the whole 1233:03030-30303 instead of 1233

We are trying to develop graphics application using a PMC Graphics card on
PowerPC SBC
We are using ELDK 3.0 kit from www.denx.de and we have successfully ported
Linux Kernel version 2.4.24.
Since the X11 was not available in ELDK 3.0, we downloaded the source of
XFree86 version 4.3.0

I was able to fix the keyboard problem by updating the symbols files under symbols/us, because default XF86config now takes refers this symbols file only. I have updated necessarly to support the keypads, Sun special keys, Power, Volume control etc. Aprat from this we need add in

Hi! I just installed the XFree86 4.5.99.901 snapshot (which fixed my
xterm installation problem, thanks guys! :)) and it runs fine. I
wanted to try the -autoconfig option to see what it would do and it
generated these messages:

do -configure instead? It used to be able to generate a working
config file.

Ok, that worked just fine, using the original, unpatched XFree86 code.
