Hi Alon, it depends on which scripts are executed on X startup and in which order on your system. I have it in /etc/X11/xdm/Xstartup - I use SuSE Linux 8.2. You could put it also in /etc/X11/Xmodmap - here you would write only: pointer = 1 2 3 6 7 4 5 not full xmodmap -e "pointer = 1 2 3 6 7 4
