Unfortunately the appropriate data has not been added to xf86PciInfo.h. Please forward 'scanpci -v' output to XFree86 support team. Invoking startx with XF86Config using correct PCI Bus ID and the nv module simply replies that there were no devices found. Repeat By: invoking xf86cfg In my opinion this occurs because the device ID of my card is not listed in the NVIDIA section of xf86PciInfo.h. I know it should work with at least many other GeForce4 cards, as Nicholas Janzen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> was able to run some other manufacturers' cards. See his page, http://www.obsd.com/computers.php for example. I also asked him for his XF86Config and X version. The only difference now was the card... His device ID is 0x171. _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
