Erm, additionally: DRI/DRM is not supported on the 530. Neither does
sisfb support the 530. Hence, no need to compile the DRM module either.

This is no X installation bug, but an error in your kernel config. The
SiS DRM kernel module requires the SiS framebuffer driver.
