You appear to have an incomplete XFree86 installation. You are missing key modules: /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libpcidata.a /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a This seems to be a common problem on Red Hat. I think maybe they have the modules in a different package from the rest of the X-se
